There are only a few days left for the 3rd round of Speedway European Championships. On the August 9th , in Holsted/Denmark, home fans will have a great opportunity to cheer for their heroes: Nicki Pedersen, Niels Kristian Iversen and Peter Kildemand, who have just won the gold in FIM Speedway World Cup in Bydgoszcz. Organisers, promotors and sponsors of the SEC Holsted event have prepared special attractions for the fans, including ticket price change.
'Our first decision is to not increase the amount of the ticket price for the matchday, which was planned. We have decided to stay on the current price level of 300/190 DKK till the end of sale. It is great opportunity for the Danish fans to meet their superstars and we want to facilitate to fullfil the stadium on Saturday. This is for sure something that Nicki, Niels and Peter deserve after their huge effort last weekend' - say promotors of SEC.
What is more, fans in the area will have another opportunity to buy the ticket on the lower price this week, if they participate in the other speedway events - 260 DKK is the price for the SEC Holsted final, if the ticket is bought in Esbjerg on Wednesday (match Esbjerg – Slangerup) or in Fjelsted on Friday (Danish Individual Final).
'It can be great speedway weekend for all the people in the area. Definitely, it's time to celebrate for Danish fans and we'll support this mood as much as we can. Everybody going into the stadium, will be given small Danish flag, to create the impressive view on the TV broadcast and give opportunity to show to the world that Danes are proud of their boys.'
Before official presentation, World Champions will take a special, dedicated honour round on the track and also will visit the VIP zone.
Fans can meet the current SEC leader, Nicki Pedersen already on Friday, August 8th. Triple world champion will be present in the Kolding Storcenter, for the special SEC autograph session event starting at 15:00. Besides local hero, in the event will take part also current European Champion: Martin Vaculik, Polish legend: Tomasz Gollob and Sweden all-star: Andreas Jonsson, a lot of special guests and SEC girls. „This will be some kind of teaser before great sport emotions on Saturday. We want to organise the event that whole Denmark will remember for a long time and we think that the timing for celebration is just perfect right now.” - concludes the organisers.
SEC Round 3 in Holsted starts on Saturday, August 9th, at 15:00.
