Australia’s domination so the summary of SBPC!

 The national team of Australia won Speedway Best Pairs series and until the next edition will have the title of the best pair in the world! Do you want to know more? This is Speedway Best Pairs Cup shortcuts!

 - Australia won 18 of 22 heats. “Aussies” had a double loss twice (with Poland in Torun and with Denmark in the final in Eskilstuna), once 3:6 with Germans in Landshut and 4:5 with Danes in Torun.

- Danes won a heat 7:2 eight times, four in Eskilstuna.

- The biggest number of individual heats had Chris Holder – 23.

- The biggest number of individual wins had Nicki Pedersen – 9.

- The biggest number of points individually in one tournament had two Polish riders: Tomasz Gollob in Torun and Jaroslaw Hampel in Eskilstuna. Both of them lost only one point and scored 23 points.

- Kjastas Puodzuks was replaced nine times in Latvian team. Reserved Maksim Bogdanovs, who replaced him, scored 15 points.

- On of the heats ended with the result 7:0 because of the exclusion of two Russian riders.

- Latvians, who took the last place in SBPC series, never were last in a single tournament! Three times they were sixth.

- German team was at the last place twice. In Torun and Eskilstuna Rene Schaefer’s team didn’t manage to beat any team. They are before Latvians only because of the place just after the podium in Landshut.

- The biggest disappointment was definitely Russia which was on the podium only in Eskilstuna. In Torun was fifth and in Landshut took the last place.

- Latvia lost ah eat 2:7 ten times. Only once less, Germans.

- The only team which didn’t change anything in the lineup was Latvia.

- Maksim Bogdanovs was excluded most times – three times.

- Among the riders who took part in all three tournaments, the best pair riding was presented by Chris Holder, who (theoretically) scored six bonuses.

- Five riders who took part in SBPC didn’t score any point. There are three Germans, Pole and Australian.

- 83% of all points of German team scored Martin Smolinski. They owe him 49 of all 59 points.

Another week of the speedway season is behind us. This time, TAURON SEC 2024 riders competed in league matches in Poland and Denmark. Mikkel Michelsen, the current Individual European Champion, was the busiest rider, participating in two meetings in Poland and one in Denmark.
