For most riders the participation in second round of Speedway Best Pairs Cup will be the first opportunity to race at OneSolar Arena Landshut - Ellermühle. However among all the representatives of the countries there are some who know the track really well. Who are they?
Martin Smolinski, the leader and the captain of German team. He is a representative of ACL Landshut in German league and he is usually the best rider in his team. “Smoli” starts only in German and Danish leagues this season so surely he will be really well prepared for the Saturday event.
The second rider is Andrzejs Lebedevs from Latvia. What is quite interesting is the fact that the two last teams from the tournament in Torun have riders with knowledge of the track in Landshut! Does it mean that there will be some surprises on 10th May at OneSolar Arena?!
There are some more! The best knowledge of the track in Landshut has Renat Gafurow, the reserved in Russian team. Gafurow has been racing in ACL Landshut for a few years and he knows the best ways there how to attack and defend. Will Gafurow be a secret weapon of Russia? Surely his experience can be useful in park machine. What do other riders think about the track in Landshut?
- I can say nothing on this subject because I’ll be there for the first time. It’ll be totally new track for me. – says Emil Sayfutdinow.
- I’ve never raced in Landshut so this will be my first time there. I haven’t had time to talk with the riders who know this track but honestly I don’t know if I ask them about it. There is a training before the tournament so I can choose the best set ups for the track and I will be able to fight for the best score.
