In a friendly match between Poland and Australia, which took place in Ostrow, better were Polish riders. In the match riders who will take part in second round of Speedway Best Pairs Cup on 10th May in Landshut were also present.
In Marek Cieslak’s team Jaroslaw Hampel and Tomasz Gollob (so the pair which will start on 10th May) had really good scores. 43 – year old Gollob scored 11 points – once he was last riding from second gate which was not an advantage in second part of the match. Jaroslaw Hampel scored one point more than his team mate.
In Australian team there was one change before the match. Darcy Ward, who is still getting well after the knee injury, was replaced by Rory Schlein. Chris Holder’s scores were rather average – he scored 8 points and a bonus in five heats. The most effective rider of the day was Davey Watt who won one of his heats as a “Joker”.
