29th of September on 7 pm in Rzeszów the last Speedway European Championships final will be held. After three competitions leader is Nicki Pedersen who is one point ahead Tai Woffinden and two ahead Tomasz Gollob who have three points advantage over Martin Vaculik who is close to the rostrum. Slovakian international in Gorican final came third and he is still fightin’ for top three which give him a place in SEC for next season.
- I like Rzeszów track very much. It reminds me my Home venue in Zarnowica where I’ve started my speedway adventure. There are so many lines to race and I have had always a good performance there. Without any doubt this is one of my favourites. – Martin Vaculik says.
Slovakian international after last final in Gorican passed Grigorij Laguta in the clasification and now He is only three points behind Tomasz Gollob. What Martin thinks about bein’ in the SEC top three? – We will see how it goes. I will do my best to be on the rostrum which will give me the place in SEC for the next year. It definitely will be hard ‘cause Tomasz Gollob is a really great rider. It would be fantastic to reach the rostrum. I will really do anything about it.
Vaculik admires Speedway European Championships organization: -SEC is something what have been missin’ in speedway. I’m really impressed by those young people with plenty of ideas who helpin’ speedway by organizing the SEC competition. For every fan every final is something great. Great show is on the venues, on the television and for the riders themselves aswell who want to race in a great atmosphere. SEC is really what speedway Leeds and I’m sure that is a correct Direktion for our beloved dyscypline.
Standings are very tight. Between first three riders there is only two points differences. In Martin’s Vaculik opinion Nicki Pedersen is the one who will take the SEC trophy. – I think Nicki will defend his advantage. He rode for Rzeszów team and he knows the track really well. Tai is fast also and he won’t surrender so quick of course. Definately in Rzeszów there will be a massive fight for win. But I still think that NIcki will take it all.
