After four weeks brake we are back to action in the Speedway European Championships. This time SEC will be held in the croatian Gorican where the best riders in the World were racin' many times. Now Zvonko Pavlic's venue is taken by One Sport company from Torun and the fastest speedway riders in Europe also. There were many changes on the starting list beacause of many riders injuries. Moreover there is still plenty of action to come. Eurosport television will provide live feed from that event as usual. Everything begins on Saturday evening on 7 pm.

In Gorican definately Kjastas Puodżuks and Roman Povazhny won't start. Both of them havin' a really serious injuries. Latvian international broke his hand in Togliatti. He supposed to be replaced by danish rider Leon Madsen. Unfortunately Leon is sick and instead of him in Gorican Grzegorz Zengota from Poland will race.

Roman Povazhny had a very dangerous fall in the russian individual competition and his head is in really bad condition after that. He supposed to be replaced by polish Rider Robert Miskowiak. Couple days ago we informed that Robert Miśkowiak will miss SEC final in Gorican.Polish international refused to start in Gorican 'cause the next day he had a league meeting in Daugavpils. In that case he was suspended by the UEM-TRC and because of that he couldn't race in Gorican and in Rzeszów aswell.

That means he can't start in the next league match too. Bur finally polish rider will take a part in Gorican SEC final replacin' injured Russian international Emil Sayfutdinov: „ It was many missunderstandings about that but now everything is ok and the most important thing is that I can start. The day after Gorican there is a long way to drive but this is speedway. I'm really happy about that SEC final but I know it won't be easy. I hope that my performance will be allright.” - Miskowiak said. Finally Nicolas Covatti, who's replacin' Roman, is ready after injury in Terenzano. We want to remind you that only top three SEC riders will stay in the tournament for 2014 season.

There are a few riders to win in Gorican. When Emil Sayfutdinov is missin' the biggest chances are for Tai Woofinden, Nicki Pedersen and Grigorij Laguta. We don't know in what condition will be Tomasz Gollob after crash in Czestochowa. Definately one of the most furious riders on the track will be russian star Grigorij Laguta.

Tai Woffinden who's just a few steps from a World Cahmpionship definately will want to win SEC aswell. The biggest oponent for him is Nicki Pedersen and that's no doubt about that. - Gorican is a little surpise for me especially after the surface changing what makes racin' a bit different now. I'm counting on a really good performance and lots of points -Pedersen said. If in Croatia Nicki won't have a poor start the last round in Rzeszów can be only as a fantastic finish for him. He rode for Rzeszów team this season and he knows defintely everything about this track.

Fans voting in our questionnaire on the official SEC website gives the best chances to British international Tai Woffiden. World Championships leader have 38.6 percent of voices. Second is Nicki Pedersen with 20.5 percent and besides the injury Emil Sayfutdinov is still high with 13 percent. As you can see the final in Gorican will be extremely interesting, 'cause the points differences between the riders are very small so every race is really important. Only top three riders will stay in SEC for 2014 season.
