Adrian Miedzinski was the winner of the last round of the Grand Prix Series. The victory is the latest triumph for the wild card rider from Torun.
The World Championship went, as expected, to Tai Woffinden. Jarek Hampel won the silver medal for the second time in his career, and on the final step of the podium was Niels Kristian Iversen.
Speedway European Championship is a project that was an idea of ours for a long time. We are pleased with what was achieved in 2013, whilst ensuring that the first season of SEC is just a small sample of what we can do. We would like to thank you, the fans, that you are with us. The viewing figures, the comments from fans, or the reactions from the riders have shown there is a place for our product on the speedway calendar. We have no doubt that what we started in 2013 has a great future in years to come.
Speedway European Championship attracted a lot of interest in its debut year of Eurosport coverage, not just amongst fans in Poland, but also in other countries that are reached by the platform. The revamped format of the competition, which was taken over by Torun based One Sport this year, has received very positive feedback from riders and experts.
Totally unecpected result we had in the last Speedway European Championships final in Rzeszow. Five points over everyone Danish SEC star Nicki Pedersen gave the lead to Slovakian International Martin Vaculik who won every of his races as a first rider in history. Cryin’ sky complicated preparations to the great final but rain didn’ stop anything. Works started early in the morning. Even two hours before the event there were doubts about safety. Massive human work gave the last competition to the crowd.
Martin Vaculik is the Individual Champion of Europe! In the last competition in Rzeszow Slovakian rider regained a five loss to Nicki Pedersen and was sensational, but worthy winner SEC! Nicki Pedersen made mistake and peeling in the play-off missed his chance to win the tournament. Pedersen was runner-up in Europe, and on the lowest step of the podium stood Grigory Laguta. Occupations in Rzeszów won also Martin Vaculik, who won all his heats.
Tai Woffinden, second rider in overall SEC will not start in the final competition tommorow in Rzeszów. Tai still complaining about collarbone injury, which he contracted during the last competition for primacy in the world in Stockholm. Tai originally assumed that the strength and start to Hetmańska 69, but injury was more serious than expected.
Zoltan Adorjan - Hungarian speedway rider, who ride in the past for Stal Rzeszow. On the occasion of the finals of the SEC, Adorjan again visited the Podkarpacie to feel the magic of the European speedway. Zoltan Adorjan was born 15th November 1961. He is so far the only Hungarian player who was a full participant in the fight for the world championship. Adorjan thirteen times won the title of Champion of Hungary Individual.
Before us lies the fourth and last round of the fight for the Individual European Championship. On Sunday in Rzeszow (PL) Nicki Pedersen (DK), Tai Woffinden (GB), and the chasing Martin Vaculik (SLK) and Grigorij Laguta (RUS) will lead an exciting battle for the European title. It's worth to remind that in the tournament for the next season stays only top three riders
Last fourth deciding SEC round in front of us. Only two riders fightin’ for the trophy now. Nicki Pedersen and Tai Woffinden will have a passion fight on Sunday. Meeting starts on 7 pm. Television feed supplies Eurosport. Only top Tyree Speedway European Cahmpionships riders will qualify to the SEC 2014.

The last round will be held on Sunday 29th September at 19:00, at the stadium on 69 ulicy Hetmanskiej in Rzeszow. Black Energy Drink will be the official provider of energy drinks and refreshments for riders and mechanics. Black Energy Drink is manufactured by Polish company FoodCare and was initially produced as a limited edition Tiger drink, under the name Black Tiger Energy Drink.
Black Energy Drink is also present outside Poland, and is available in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Bulgaria. Since 2012 the former American boxer, Mike Tyson, has been the face of the beverage.
September 29 in Rzeszow will be the fourth and the last tournament of the SEC. Already draw in the starting numbers for the tournament. Because of the injury to the Millennium Stadium Speedway start several reserve riders. Recall that the wild card for the competition in Rzeszow was Grzegorz Walasek. Reserve will be: Łukasz Sówka (Poland) and Maciej Kuciapa (Poland). It's worth to remind that in the tournament for the next season stays only top three riders. Grzegorz Zengota will replace Tomasz Gollob, who was injured after last round Grand Prix.
I feel normally before the last SEC final. – Nicki Pedersen starts. – For me it’s really like a league match or the World Championship battle. I want to race as good as I can normally. Of course there is hard job to do and I need to be very focused by that is how my duty looks.
