It's time for the second round of the TAURON SEC 2023. The series moves to Güstrow, where the round of the Individual European Championship will be held for the eighth time in history.

Leon Madsen is the current leader of the interim classification of the series. The Dane grabbed the victory in Częstochowa and he is one of the main favorites to win in Mecklenburg. Mikkel Michelsen is just one point behind the defending champion. The 2019 and 2021 TAURON SEC winner will certainly take advantage of any small mistake made by his compatriot. We should expect a great result from Patryk Dudek, who stood on the podium during the last two rounds held in Güstrow. Two years ago, he was third, while recently he finished second.

Last year in Güstrow Janusz Kołodziej not only grabbed the win, but it also was his first victory in the history of Individual European Championship. Due to the injury, the Pole will start this year's TAURON SEC series right in Güstrow. He is not the only one who was forced to withdraw from the inaugural round in Częstochowa. In addition to Kołodziej, the upcoming round will be the first for Dominik Kubera, Grzegorz Zengota and Andreas Lyager. All four will want to show their best, while gaining as many valuable points as possible.

Representatives of the hosts - Kai Huckenbeck and Norick Blödorn - may also join the rivalry for the top spots. The first will want to prove that the worse score achieved in Częstochowa was the result of unfortunate events, while the youngster, who received a 'wild card' for this competition, will face a chance to make his debut in TAURON SEC something special.

Dimitri Berge's performance promises to be an interesting one. The Frenchman, during the first round of the competition presented himself very successfully, which is best seen by the fact that he will go to Güstrow as the fifth rider of the interim classification, having 10 points to his credit.  However, he doesn't have pleasant memories of the German track, because a year ago he scored just one point there. Will he strengthen his position at the top? As he himself mentioned, he is in full readiness to achieve high results.

The main partner of Speedway European Championships is Lotto.
