Six of this year TAURON SEC participants were riding in the FIM Speedway World Cup final, which was held on the last Saturday in Wrocław. After an exciting last heat, Poland won the title with a two-point advantage over Great Britain.
The bronze medal was gained by Denmark, which was led by Leon Madsen. Two-time Individual European Champion scored nine points in five starts. This wasn’t a good day for Mikkel Michelsen. TAURON SEC winner from 2019 and 2021 grabbed only two points. One of the main polish characters of the FIM SWC final was Dominik Kubera. Coming back after a serious injury 'Domin' was surprising his opponents with phenomenal starts, which let him score crucial nine points. Patryk Dudek impressed with a top form especially on the beginning of the day. Polish National Team reserve Janusz Kołodziej rode only once – in heat 17, when he finished fourth.
For most of the competition, the British team with Adam Ellis in the line-up was leading the table, but everything changed in the last heat. Ultimately, Ellis scored three points.
