The great final of Speedway Best Pairs Cup is in a few days time. On 23rd of May seven national teams will take part in the tournament but only three of them still have chance for the final triumph. Who will get 10 points and who will be outsider? We’ll find out on Friday and in the meantime we have for you some interesting facts concerning the two previous rounds.

 - The only team which hasn’t changed the squad since the beginning is Latvia. All the time Latvians has been calling up Kjastas Puodzuks, Maksim Bogdanovs and Andzejs Lebedevs,

- Niels Kristian Iversen has scored the most points so far (without last chance heats and finals). “PUK” has scored 34 points but his team mate Nicki Pedersen and the captain of German team, Martin Smolinski are very close to him – both these riders have scored 32 points,

- The best individual score is 23 points of Tomasz Gollob, which he scored during inaugural tournament at Motoarena in Torun,

- The biggest surprise, according to experts, were the win of Latvians over Poles in one of the heats in Landshut and also triumph of Michael Haertel over Chris Holder.

- 13 times heats ended with the score 5:4. Thanks to the rules there were no draws but only wins of one of two teams,

- The most controversial thing was the exclusion of two Russians because of wrong colors of helmets. At first Russia won with Swedes 6:3 but the result was changed into 0:7.
