It’s less than two weeks to third and last round of Speedway Best Pairs Cup. This time the best riders will appear on 23rd May in Eskilstuna where three team will fight for the win: Australia, Denmark and Poland.
However it doesn’t mean that other teams don’t fight for anything. Germans and Latvians will try to take some points from theoretically stronger rivals. Russians will try to redeem for their bad score in Landshut and Emil Sayfutdinov, who is coming back to his good disposition, is supposed to help them to gain it.
Home team – Sweden will have a really difficult task. After not very good score in Landshut, Andreas Jonsson and Peter Ljung will do their best to win in their country and make a visible progress in general classification. The main candidate for a win are Australians but they can’t be too self – confident.
Surely the advantage for most riders is the fact that they race in Swedish league. Home team is Ikaros Smederna and the representatives of this club are: Grigorij Laguta and Kjastas Puodzuks. Who knows, maybe the manager of Swedish team will give experienced Magnus “Zorro” Zetterstroem chance…
