Very interesting matches saw fans in Poland on Saturday and Sunday. During fourth round of Enea Extralegue the results of three of four matches were known after two last heats. In the hit of the round Unibax Torun won with the current leader Grupa Azoty Unia Tarnow 48:42. Fogo Unia Leszno lost two last heats and the whole match with Falubaz Zielona Gora 44:46.
Saturday match between KantorOnline Wlokniarz Czestochowa and Betard Sparta Wroclaw settled in the very last meters of the last heat. Maciej Janowski blocked Michael Jepsen Jensen to help World Champion Tai Woffinden. Brit missed only a few centimeters. Home team won although Grigorij Laguta didn’t appear in their squad. As he said, it was the result of some arrears in payments.

In Torun there was a rivalry of two strong teams. Home team Unibax fought with Tauron Azoty Unia Tarnow. Visitors had in their squad unbelievable Martin Vaculik and thanks to it they were fighting with home team in which Tomasz Gollob didn’t have a good beginning. Finally very brave attack in fourteenth heat gave them two points in league table. Defeat of visitors was their first this season.

In the last match in Leszno, Fogo Unia Leszno has an advantage before two last heats in the match with Falubaz Zielona Gora. Visitors made a tactical change with Jaroslaw Hampel. In fourteenth heat on the last bend Piotr Pawlicki made a mistake and he was overtaken by Aleksander Loktajew. This wat it wasn’t 4:2 but 5:1 and last heat was decisive. In this heat pair Hampel – Protasiewicz didn’t give chance to Przemyslaw Pawlicki and Nicki Pedersen. Visitors won 5:1 and 46:44 in the match .
