The third round of TAURON SEC 2023, which took place in Bydgoszcz was not successful for Vaclav Milik. The Czech scored only one point, which translated into 16th place in the classification.

The meeting in Bydgoszcz did not go as planned for the 2016 and 2017 European Championship medalist just from the beginning. The Czech had two engine failures, and the only point he scored he did in a race in which Kai Huckenbeck did not finish. What went wrong?

- Actually, I don’t know. In fact, we changed settings heat after heat. Can’t blame it on the settings though, it’s also about my racing - he said.

- I haven’t scored big points in Bydgoszcz ever, I've never done particularly well on this track. It’s hard for me to race here. I choose some bad lines. Also adjustment failed. I was in contact in the first corner and then, the other guys just drove off. I was simply too slow - he said.

There is no time for worrying, as the final round of the series will take place in Pardubice this week. Local fans will certainly be hoping for a better performance from "Vaschek." The Czech has a plan to put on a good show on his home soil.

- I already have a plan. I'm sending my engine to get it done for the long tracks. I’m home there and I need to finally get a good score in the TAURON SEC, because it’s hard for me to look at it. It’s nice that this season ends in Pardubice as I know this track perfectly. I hope I will adjust well enough to be in the final - Milik concluded.
