The past weekend was full of a solid dose of speedway emotions. The Polish tracks hosted meetings of the play-off phase in both - PGE Ekstraliga and 1. Liga Żużlowa. The PGE Ekstraliga semifinals attracted the main attention, and TAURON SEC riders played key roles in both matches.
On Saturday, on the local track in Częstochowa Włókniarz faced the defending champions, Motor Lublin. From the very beginning, the rhythm of the meeting was set by the guests, who dealt with the host team step by step on their own terms. In the end, Motor will approach the rematch with a fourteen-point advantage. One of the guests leaders was Dominik Kubera who scored 10. The honor of Włókniarz was defended by Leon Madsen (16) and Mikkel Michelsen (9). It definitely wasn't a successful meeting for Kacper Woryna. The current No 4 of the interim classification of TAURON SEC 2023 interim classification didn't score a single point.

On Sunday, Apator Toruń faced Sparta Wrocław. Compared to the match in Częstochowa, the second semifinal battle was the one full of excitement and fighting till the end. Fans gathered on the stands of MotoArena witnessed lots of overtakes, and the fate of the meeting was decided only in the last race of the day. The hosts were represented by the fifth rider of the TAURON SEC 2023 interim classification, Patryk Dudek. The bronze medalist of the 2021 Individual European Championship in each of his four starts reached the finish line in third place.
