FIM EUROPE

FIM Europe (formerly UEM, Union Européenne de Motocyclisme) is a continental union (CONU) recognized by the FIM that brings together 47 National Federations (FMNs) and 6 Regional Motorcycle Associations. Like other unions, FIM Europe owns the rights to continental championships, including commercial, marketing, video and related rights.

FIM Europe works in conjunction with the FIM on all matters related to organizing international sporting events held in Europe and the overall promotion of motorcycling. FIM Europe (formerly UEM) is the European organization representing all matters connected with motorcycling and related areas, from sport, tourism and leisure to environmental protection, mobility, road safety, legal affairs, and the protection and defense of the rights and interests of motorcycle users.

FIM Europe is authorized to exercise any other powers entrusted to it by decisions of the FIM Board of Directors or General Assembly, which specify the scope and timing of such activities.

As far as motorcycle sport is concerned, FIM Europe is the highest and sole European authority empowered to oversee motorcycle sport activities organized under its jurisdiction throughout Europe. The official titles of the European Championships, FIM Europe Cups and other European tournaments and events across all motorcycle sport disciplines are the exclusive property of FIM Europe. Accordingly, FIM Europe may impose the technical and economic conditions it deems necessary for staging events.

FIM Europe is the sole owner of all television, radio, video, advertising, marketing, merchandising, promotion, licensing and other rights to the European Championships and Cups.
