Woryna: I have something to prove

'Woryn' finished this year’s series in fourth place. Despite everything, the Pole does not intend to give up and already assures that he will do everything to return to the podium of the Individual European Championship next year.

You finished the event in Pardubice in fourth place, and in the end, it was Leon Madsen who won the bronze medal for the series. You must feel some regret since you missed the Dane by just one point...

- I feel quite disappointed. I have no complaints about the referee, only that it’s a great pity the exclusion decision was made during the event and not immediately after the race. I did my best in the final, I fell, and unfortunately, the medal slipped away.

Still, I think you can say you had a successful season. Fourth place in the TAURON SEC 2025 and qualification for the FIM SGP sounds really good.

- Exactly. Looking at all my performances this year, I had a good season. Qualifying for the FIM SGP was my main goal for this year, and I managed to achieve it. My league performances definitely need improvement—there is work to be done. I regret losing the Speedway Euro Championship medal in the last race. Another medal in the European Championship is one of my goals for 2026.

So I understand we will see you in next year’s series?

- Of course! I have something to prove in the fight for the Individual European Championship. The event is organized at the highest level, the competitors are very evenly matched, and the locations are interesting. See you next year!
