Huckenbeck: I want to maintain consistent form

Kai Huckenbeck returns to the TAURON SEC after two years. Already on Saturday, as a 'wild card', he will compete in the second round of the cycle, which will take place in Güstrow.

Kai, you received a wild card for the TAURON SEC round in Güstrow. With what mindset are you approaching Saturday’s round?

- I would like to present myself in the best possible way, to show the viewers and promoters that I have a solid form that allows me to compete with the best riders in Europe. I count on the fans coming to the stadium in great numbers and supporting not only me but also Norick.

This is your second consecutive year as a permanent participant competing in the FIM Speedway Grand Prix cycle. What are your individual goals for the current season?

- I want to maintain consistent form throughout the season, performing well not only in individual competitions. I want to help my clubs as much as possible in league competitions as well.

Let’s stay with your teams that you represent. Do you think Polonia Bydgoszcz has a chance to advance to the PGE Ekstraliga?

- I believe so. We have a very good, and most importantly, balanced team. Together, we form a really well-coordinated team that has a big chance to advance to the PGE Ekstraliga, and we should take advantage of this chance. I believe it will succeed.

Do you have any hobbies apart from speedway, of course?

- In my free time, fishing very much relaxes me. I also like working out at the gym, doing winter sports, and riding motocross.
