Cierniak: It was my first time in Güstrow

The two-time Individual Under-21 World Champion finished the second round of TAURON SEC 2025 in fifteenth place with three points. The Pole emphasizes that the experience gained in the Old Continent championship is invaluable.

How do you rate Saturday’s event from your perspective?

- Very positively. It was my first time in Güstrow. It is a very short, technical track where you can really race, so it was another valuable experience for me. I assess my ride positively for my first time in Güstrow.

After two rounds of this year’s series, you are in eleventh place. What mindset do you have going into the two remaining competitions, which will soon take place in Leszno and Pardubice?

- For me, this year’s series is still primarily about gaining experience. That’s why I’m glad I can compete in events like the one in Güstrow. You get to race on a completely different track than usual.

For the tenth time, the TAURON SEC round took place in Güstrow. After your start on this track, do you think it makes sense to hold events of this level in such venues?

- Absolutely. Full stands and a great atmosphere showed that there is still potential to organize such events in Germany. From venues like these, it’s clear there are quite a lot of speedway fans.
