One of the most successful riders in the history of speedway both domestically and internationally. 7-times Speedway World Champion (1 time individually in 2010 and 6 times with the team in the seasons 1996, 2005, 2007 and 2009-2011). FIM Personality of the Year 2010. 30-times Polish champion in various events (7-fold in team, 9-fold individually, 11-fold in pair, 3-fold individually U21 and 1-fold in pair U21). He also won the team championship of Great Britain with Ipswich Witches in 1998 and team championship of Sweden with Västervik Speedway in 2005.
Gollob has been starting in Speedway European Championships series since 2013. In the first season he had a good chance of winning the only title missing, however, serious injury meant he was not able to start in the final round in Rzeszów. In 2014, after a great start in German Guestrow, he had two weaker tournaments, the effect of which was only ninth place in the general classification of the series.
Since 2013 he has been racing only in Polish league. Nine-time Speedway Individual Polish Champion, after the end of his career, is still going to be close to motorcycles. "Skinny" plans to start in Dakar. In competitions of world class (Individual World Championships, SWC) Gollob won fifteen medals, including seven gold ones.
