According to World Champion 1993, Sam Ermolenko, in this year's line up, there are still riders, who can make an impact in the general classification of the series. One of them is Andreas Jonsson.

After two rounds of SEC 2017, Andzejs Lebedevs is on top of the table. Latvian rider was 2nd in Güstrow and so far, he's got two points more than the vice-leader - Artem Laguta. Fans, who attended the round in Güstrow witnessed a passionate show.

- I have been many times to Güstrow and I think the conditions of track was most-likely the best I've seen to date... there were so many good racing lines-inside andout-side, the racers really had many choices... It made it hard to call a winner in each heat - Ermolenko admitted.

It was Andzejs Lebedevs and Artem Laguta, who impressed the World Champion from Pocking the most.

- I was looking at Andzejs Lebedevs in the pits before the races as he has been in good form so far this season… I grabbed the opportunity to ask him a few questions, because he is still a young racers I was interested to see if I could find any weakness before, as I know Gustrow is a tricky place! So as you can see from the results he handle things real good!! … Artem Laguta came good at the end, okay maybe a bit of luck as Huckenbeck crashed out in the first corner of the final but when you look back at round one in Torun he finished on 8points with two exclusions and to bounce back to grab 15pts putting him right up in the top side of the championship is very impressive - "Sudden Sam" added.

In the general classification of SEC 2017, there's extremely tight. 8th in the table - Andrey Kudryashov is only 9 points back from the leader. According to Sam Ermolenko, TOP 4 can be joined by few others.

- With a few of the top names side-lined during the first two rounds we just might find, on their return if that becomes that this just will show how much the top 4 can keep it together… of course when look back at the line-ups you have to believe there are a few good names that have yet perform to their best, as well!

Third round of Speedway Euro Championship 2017 will be held in Swedish Hallstavik. According to many riders' opinions, Swedish track reminds them English ones.

- I’ve raced a season at Hallstavik with many years in Sweden against them too… Hallstavik is a great little track that can be quite challenging … the first corner rides one way and the other different so the rider with more knowledge just might have an advantage… it’s like most, the start is important but knowing the track is as well.

According to Ermolenko, one of the favourites to win Saturday's round is Andreas Jonsson. Swede has got a perfect knowledge on Hallstavik's track and has been performing really well in this year's series.

- I would not bet against A Jonsson as we all know he has been performing well below what he should be, so he should be one! If the track becomes slick then I have a few more that might surprise us, but if you really want to stay at the top then you don’t have to look further then the top 4…- Sudden Sam ended.
