Krzysztof Kasprzak got the third place in second round of this year's Speedway Euro Championship, which took place in German Güstrow. Thanks to a good performance, "KK" advanced to the 4th position in the overall classification.

Once again, Kasprzak got himself on the podium of the meeting in Güstrow. Back in 2016, during the first round of SEC 2016, Polish National Team's rider got the 2nd position. This time, "KK" jumped on the lowest step of the podium.

- I am really happy with this result. It was a tough and demanding meeting, so I'm even more happy to stand on the podium - Kasprzak said.

After two rounds, Krzysztof Kasprzak is 4th in the overall classification, which guarantees him start in next year's series. However, that's not enough for the bronze medalist of 2016 European Championship.

- If at the end of the series I'll be standing on the podium - I will be happy. I lost some points in Toruń, in Güstrow it happened too, but all of the riders loses something on the distance. Currently I'm in the TOP 5, but I want to be in the medal zone - vice-champion of the world 2014 added.

What's important, Kasprzak lost nearly 6 weeks because of his collarbone injury.

- When everybody was racing, I was laying on the couch. I lost a lot of time, but have been feeling more and more comfortable while sitting on a bike. I fight to get as many points as possible - said rider born in Lesnzo.

Next round of SEC 2017 will take place in Hallstavik. For Kasprzak, it's a good information, because Swedish track suits Polish rider.

- In Hallstavik everything can happen. This track is very specific, has similar characteristics to English track, which suit me - Kasprzak ended.
