Przemysław Pawlicki has been seen at one of the main favourites to reach for the European Championship. Older of Pawlicki brothers had a good inauguration in Toruń, where he finished as 4th. Unfortunately, round in Güstrow went way below his expectations.
Pole started this rivalry well. After three series of starts, he had 7 points gathered. In fourth, heat no.14, Pawlicki was excluded for crossing track's inner line with both of his wheels - that got him out of the rhythym.
- It wasn't a good meeting for me. This exclusion was a pity and we just got lost a bit after that - Pawlicki said. - I have to draw certain conclusions to avoid such mistakes in the next rounds.
Przemysław Pawlicki is currently classified at 7th position in the overall classification of SEC, losing 7 points to the leader - Artem Laguta. SEC 2017 participants has just passed the half of this rivalry. Two rounds are ahead. First comes in the first week of August - in Swedish Hallstavik, at the shortest track of this year's cycle.
- Each track is good for me, its length is not a problem. Finding quick adjustment and proper setups is the key. Right now, I'm out of TOP 5, but there are still 2 rounds, so everything's still possible. There's still a chance for the top goals - Pole said.
Pawlicki's number in this year's series is #59. Why did he choose this number?
- It relates to my date of birth, which was on September 5 - Pawlicki explained.
