Artiom Laguta won the second SEC round in Güstrow. Next places took Andrej Lebiediew and Krzysztof Kasprzak.

First German fans came to the stadium only a moment after gates opening, but campers popular in speedway world had stayed near the stadium one day before Speedway Euro Championship round started.

First series was the best for riders started from gate A. Wild card Kai Huckenbeck, who was third in Güstrow last year, won his first race. His second heat made a lot of noise on the stands too, because on the last corner he passed Andrey Kudriashov.

Very fast this day was Artiom Laguta. Russian won his first and second race with huge advantage, what improved him in general classification. Two series showed, that gates A and D are the best, because riders started from there won everything.

How bad is gate B convinced Artiom Laguta. In heat 9 he faced two other favourites for todays and whole tournnament victory. Andrei Lebedev and Vaclav Milik made beautiful fight between themself. Finally better was Latvian, who passed from tihrd to first position. Laguta had to enjoy only one point. First rider, who broke gate B spell was Andreas Jonsson. Swede won start, what he used on first corner, what allowed him to rode at the front.

The best fight in the competition took place in heat 16. These time Mateusz Szczepaniak and Andreas Jonsson rode near the air fences. Finally, better was Szczepaniak, who passed his rival on the straight, what allowed him to win the race.

Mateusz Szczepaniak, Vaclav Milik, Krzysztof Kasprzak and Kai Huckenbeck took part in the race-off. German rider had the best start, but in first corner he made a mistake which caused his fall. For sure, wild card rider was excluded.

In repeat, Mateusz Szczepaniak won the start, but he had some problems in the same place as Huckenbeck by what he lost any chance to promote to final. Finally, in the most important race of the day, we saw Artiom Laguta, Andrei Lebedev, Vaclav Milik and Krzysztof Kasprzak.

In the final, the best was Artiom Laguta. Unfortunatelly, a lot of bad luck had Andrei Lebiediew, who was close to pass Russian, but he had similar problems as Huckenbeck and Szczepaniak in the race-off. Ultimately he finished second. His good performance allowed him to took the lead in SEC GC.
