8 hours left until the official opening of the Speedway Euro Championship 2017 series. First act of this spectacle will take place in Toruń. 15 riders, who will be fighting for the Europe's best title are coming to Motoarena.
There are 113 784 meters in 88 heats to get through. 15 best European riders, 4 rounds, 3 countries, 1 aim - gold medal of the Individual European Championship. It will be the fifth consecutive year, when Speedway Euro Championship will give us name of the rider, who will wear the crown of Europe. Every next edition of changed European Championship is even more interesting and passionate than the previous one. Last year proved that this formula of qualifications 2 months before the start of the series, selects the very best riders in current moment and they're all about giving unforgettable memories to all the fans. It's really rare to have the last round deciding about all the medal positions and what's more, in Speedway Euro Championship 2016, it was the last heat to do so. Incredible tightness in the overall classification caused that the new champion was the rider, who 6 heats earlier had been on 9th position.
Speedway Euro Championship is a fight for glory, love of thousands of fans and attractive money prizes. Whole show around proves its value at the "speedway market". This year's edition promises to be extremely emotional. Line up is a mix od experience, titles, with youth, which wants to qucikly climb on the piramide's top. Title is defended by Dane - Nicki Pedersen. "Power" however will have a tough task to do so. Injury, which made him unable to start in the first round in Toruń made triple world champion have only three rounds to get the gold medal once again hang on his neck. Except the lower number of starts, disposition of guys like Vaclav Milik, Krzysztof Kasprzak or Grigorij Laguta will be crucial. This year's series goes to Toruń, Güstrow, Hallstavik and Lublin. Each of these tracks assures a huge dose of spectacular racing and each got its hero, supported by the massive crowd.
First round of SEC 2017 is taking place in Toruń, where cycle is back after a two-year break. At Motoarena, we will be witnessing incredible emotions, especially when you hear all the riders talking about the track's advantages and lots of lines to race on.
Except sport emotions, fans should also attend the "Fan Zone", where lots of attractions are waiting for them. Starting from 1 PM, one should visit mobile Escape Room, natural ice creams, lots of contests with gadgets to win etc.
Round in Toruń is going to be truly passionate and all is left to do is to wish all the fans even better season than a year ago.
Tickets are on sale in Empik, Media Markt, Saturn and on eventim.pl. Furthermore, due to the end of school year, organizers made a special promotion for kids. To every normal ticket on green stand, a ticket for a child will cost 1 zł.
