Vaclav Milik became the sensational silver medalist of Speedway Euro Championship 2016. After being 11th overall in SEC 2015, Czech rider got the second chance, which was taken perfectly by proving his potential.

Medalist of the invididual Czech championship, both in junior and senior categories. Starte his career at the age of 14 under a watchful eye of his father, Vaclav Milik senior. As a junior, he was quickly named as the hope of Czech speedway, thanks to his spectacular results. In the age of 20, he already had gold medals in every category of individual Czech championship - U19, U21 and in the senior competition - won it all at his home yard.

At the international arena, Milik also proved he can become of the world's best. In 2014, got the Individual Junior European Championship. The same year, he was 4th in U21 World Championship. Made his performance in Speedway Euro Championship 2015, thanks to a good racing in SEC Challenge. Milik got 10 points in toruń, reaching the 5th position, guaranteeing a spot as a permanent rider of the series. However, first season in SEC wasn't the one he had imagined. In four rounds, he wasn't able to get through to the race-off heats and among 20 heats, he won 3 and gathered 20 points total, which ultimately gave him 11th position overall.

In Speedway Euro Championship 2016, he started as a "wild card". Organizers - One Sport company decided to give Milik second chance and he repayed with some perfect racing. In four rounds, he made 3 appearances in the race-off heat and in every tournament he had a score above 8 points. Very equal racing brought Czech to a position, where he was seen as one of the favourites before the last round in Rybnik. And that's exactly what happened. Milik reached the 2nd position in SEC 2016, getting 38 points and being only 2 points away from gold.

Milik's performances in 2017 make people putting him on the list of the candidates to dethrone current European Champion - Nicki Pedersen. With his latest ride at Motoarena in league clash agains Get Well Toruń, four-time medalist of Czech championship proved that on Friday, he will be one of the main candidates to win the 1st round of Speedway Euro Championship 2017.

Tickets are on sale in Empik, Media Markt, Saturn and on eventim.pl. Furthermore, due to the end of school year, organizers made a special promotion for kids. To every normal ticket on green stand, a ticket for a child will cost 1 zł.
