Before the Saturday's meeting in Togliatti, Janusz Kołodziej counted that he would have presented similarly to Guestrow, where he reached the final, however it was cancelled because of the weather conditions. Unfortunately, the third round won't be remembered for him as a good one.

In the Russian round of Speedway Euro Championship, Janusz Kołodziej was giving his best, however got only 6 points.

- Meeting was a disaster for me. It was clear that there's still a lot of work ahead.

Somewhere there, during such meeting, there is a problem inside of me - said Polish rider.

Before starting the meeting in Togliatti, Kolodziej had some worries.

- I remember that at this track I was not doing well even i these years when I had my best seasons. - added 32-year old rider - There's something in it. My setup and attitutde toward this meeting is not as it should be. I do realize I did not ride well.

Despite the mentioned worries, triple Individual Polish Champion counted on Togliatti as a better impulse to fight for the top locations.

- I'm trying not to look back, going through the past things, so I'm taking every next meeting as a new, fresh one. I did know, though, what the statistics are and I wanted to change them. I gained two points more than in Daugavpils, but you can't call it a breakthrough.

Fourth round ending the rivalry will take place in Rybnik on September 17. Janusz Kołodziej is currently 14th. Chances for securing the spot for the next year are rather small, but the Polish rider is not losing his hopes on ambitious fight in the great final of SEC 2016.

- This track fits me the most and I'm not talking only about the SEC venues in this season. Even in the league, it was fine for me there. I put all my hopes that I had in Togliatti on a good performance in Rybnik - ended Janusz with a smile on his face.
