After taking the second place in SEC Challenge in Toruń, he said he was full of optimism before upcoming Speedway Euro Championship series. Hans Andersen remembered the time, when in 2013 was just an inch away from the Euro championship podium. Now, he got the result below his expectations.

Between 2013 and 2015 season there's a big difference visible. Just to compare: in the first season of reformed European Championship, Andersen got 35 points that gave him 4th place overall. Two years later, he got 10 points less that led him to the 9th position.

If Dane had reached this amount of points from 2013, that would have been enough to take the... 4th place. "Ugly Duck"'s hope was the fact that in the Polish league, he was riding really well and was the leader of Orzeł Łódź at the back of PGE Ekstraliga.

His not so good result in SEC 2015 was caused by a really bad performance in Toruń (inaugural round), when he got only two points. First round made the rider from Odense hard to fight for the TOP5. Despite his ambitious attitude in further rounds, Andersen didn't make the spot guaranteeing start in SEC 2016.

His chances will be found in the eliminations and another SEC Challenge. Will Andersen come back to his form, when he was dividing and ruling at the world's tracks?
