All of this caused that fans were witnessing some incredible battles. Noone was giving up or shutting the gas down - we could notice that right from the very first heat. Kjastas Puodzuks' injury made him end the meeting before he even started it properly.
Two first series brought a lot of emotions. Their main provider was Grigorij Laguta, who thanks to his bravery at the track was ending his heats at the top. Despite some great fight at the track, fans could admire some great attractions prepared by the organizers.
Full packed stadium was literally shaking, when in the final heat, local hero Emil Sayfutdinov went through to the top position. For the "Russian Torpedo" it was his second triumph and everybody realized the fact that their favourite is on the best way to the Euro golden medal.
