Two first rounds of SEC 2015 were very interesting and in the half of the season, it was still unknown who had the biggest chances to reach the Euro Champion title. Everything changed in Kumla, though and Emil Sayfutdinov left no ilussions to the others.
In each of his six heats, Emil was crossing the finish line as first. He made this achievement as a second rider in the SEC history. Thanks to that, Russian made a clear path to defending the title. European Champion 2014 even when losing starts, only with a little bit of effort was taking the first position after all.
Russian's action even made the TOP5 of the season, when at the first lap's second corner overtook all of his rivals with a single attack.
His fight with Nicki Pedersen was a true cherry on top. Dane was trying to block his faster rival near the fence, but Sayfutdinov had such a phenomenal speed, that passed "Power" with no bigger effort.
In the great final, from the very beginning Emil Sayfutdinov was leading the stake. Surprisingly, Grigorij Laguta got the position right behind his back. Lindbaeck was third, and Pedersen fourth. At the last corner, while attacking Laguta's position, Swede crossed the track's line with both wheels and got excluded.
Therefore, Nicki Pedersen took the third place. All that made a clear path to the title for Emil, because before the final round in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Sayfutdinov made a 9-point advantage over his biggest rival.
