Emil Sayftudinov was definitely one of the heroes of the SEC inauguration in Toruń. It was his first attempt to the clear maximum and through the whole evening, he was incredibly fast. In the main series, noone was able to beat him. 15 points gathered impressed everyone attending the MotoArena stands. Russian was a sure shot, when it comes to winning the fist SEC round, however...
Last heats are Nicki Pedersen's domain. Dane got a perfect start and took the finish without looking behind his back. Along with Przedpełski, he was the first rider to beat European Champion in SEC 2015.
Sayfutdinov knows the track in Toruń perfectly, because in 2014 season he was representing local Unibax club. In that time, he learnt all the paths of MotoArena and it was clear that he had no problems with reading the track's conditions.
He went through the main series like a thunder. Noone was able to defeat him and with the maximum points, Russian went straight to the final. There, however, despite his ambitious fight, he only managed to defeat Antonio Lindbaeck. The fact is that despite his third place, Sayfutdinov had a one point advantage over Nicki Pedersen in the overall classification. That was kind of a teaser for upcoming emotions in Landshut round.
