Piotr Protasiewicz counted strongly on a good performance in Speedway European Championships 2015. Unfortunately, reality took the experienced rider down: 20 points and 12th place was surely not at the top of Protasiewicz's dreams.
PePe" had no problems with advancing to the SEC series, but his performance in the main events was not as bright. Only the round in Toruń was quite good for Protasiewicz. 8 points and 8th place cannot be called as the perfect debut in European Championship though, especially after watching him racing at Motoarena in league matches, when he was watching opponents' back rarely.
During the second round in Landshut, Protasiewicz was close to reaching the race-off heat, but after three good heats, got completely lost in his fourth and fifth and that led him to the 8th place.
"PePe" couldn't start in the Swedish round, because of the injury, which renewed during the league match in Poland. In the last round in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Protasiewicz had a mix of good and bad heats that led him only to the 12th position. Thing that doesn't bring any fame was the fact that out of 15 heats he didn't win even one.
However, it's worth mentioning that one of his actions was placed in the TOP5 of the best ones of SEC 2015 season. During the meeting in Toruń, he amazed fans with a great attack letting him go through from the 4th place to the 2nd.
