At the beginning of the season, Tomasz Jędrzejak was in a really fine disposition. It was confirmed f.e. in national qualifications to European Championship and mostly during the SEC Challenge in Toruń. "Ogór" reached the 3rd place and without bigger problems advanced to the SEC series in 2015.
First round though wasn't that good for him as SEC Challenge and Jędrzejak got only 6 points in 5 heats. Surely, Pole counted on a better result, but also announced that in the next rounds he would fight for some more and at least would try to advance to the race-off heats.
Unfortunately, in Landshut, despite of his good starts, Jędrzejak couldn't hold his positions and for most of the time ended his heats at the end of the stake. Reaching only one point didn't bring him any fame and Pole had to admit that this performance of him was really poor.
In Kumla, during the third round it was way better. Seven points didn't let him advance to the race-off heat, but it was kind of a light at the end of the tunnel, proving that rider from Ostrów Wielkopolski is capable of some big racing.
- I've got not enough races and generally, this part of the season is really bad for me. I just hope that at my home track, I'll present in a best way possible, but I do know that it won't be easy while riding in such stake. - Jędrzejak said before the meeting in his home town.
In fact, coming back home was kind of a painful act. 5 starts, 2 points and only 15th place in overall classification of Speedway European Championships. Without any doubt, Tomek counted on way more, but who knows, maybe next season, rich in experiences, Jędrzejak will fight once more to be a part of SEC?
