As we all perfectly know, speedway is packed with great emotions, but most of all effective actions remembered and watched for a long time. We decided to pick the TOP 5 (in our opinion) most interesting actions of the past SEC season.
No. 5 - Piotr Protasiewicz
11th heat of the inaugural SEC Round in Toruń. After 2 laps, Piotr Protasiewicz staying at the last place, while Peter Kildemand and Przemysław Pawlicki are struggling in front of Pole. At the start/finish line "PePe" makes a classic scissors cut and with one attack, passes rivals and places right behind Nicki Pedersen.
No. 4 - Martin Vaculik
12th heat of 4th Round in Ostrów Wielkopolski with a fantastic Slovak's attack at the 2nd position (by passing Hans Andersen). From the very beginning, Vaculik was looking for a way to grab this position from Dane's hands. He managed to do that at the last meters, which makes this attack so eye-catching. "Vacul" slipped right near the fence, passed Andersen and grabbed 2 points.
No. 3 - Emil Sayfutdinov
Heat no. 14 in Kumla surely made speedway fans electrified. Right after the start, double European Champion placed at the last, 4th position. Russian didn't care though and at one straight and the nearest corner, put himself through to the first position with one attack! It looked so easy as it was simply obvious and natural. Standing ovation says it all.
No. 2 - Przemysław Pawlicki vs Peter Kildemand in Ostrów Wielkopolski.
During all four laps, Pole was trying to whale into Dane, but he was defending his position well throughout most of the time. At the opposite straight of one of the laps, Pawlicki had to shut the gas down to prevent from crashing with Kildemand. At the last corner, Dane made a small mistake, which was used instantly by Pawlicki. Throttle fully open, jumping near the fence and a spectacular tackle gave him 2 points in this heat.
No. 1 - Antonio Lindbaeck and his fight with Pawlicki brothers.
Throughout 3 laps, brothers from Leszno were showing their back to Swede, who was incredibly effective on that day. "Rio Rocket" did not plan to give up though and was getting closer to the rivals with every meter. Firstly, he managed to pass the older of Pawlicki brothers and at the last corner found a great speed that made him grab the "3" from popular "Piter". Truly incredible heat, which in our opinion fully deserves the 1st place at our TOP5 list.
