On Sunday, in Poland, first matches deciding about the medals' holders were taken. Unia Tarnów won at the Motoarena and therefore got closer to the bronze. In Częstochowa, Betard Sparta Wrocław, riding as the hosts, lost with FOGO Unia Leszno, who made a big step towards the golden medals.
In the first leg of the bronze medal clash, Unia Tarnów grabbed the away win over KS Toruń. Janusz Kołodziej led the Tarnów team with his 14 points. Honour of KS Toruń was being defended by Paweł Przedpłski (13+1) .

One could not complain about the lack of emotions in Częstochowa, where the „Bulls” from Leszno defeated Wrocław riders 49:41. Nearly in every heat, there was a tough fight for every single point. Among the winners, Nicki Pedersen and Grzegorz Zengota were the top scorers. On the other side, Maciej Janowski & Tai Woffinden were doing their best to stop the Leszno team.
