Emil Sayfutdinov became the European Champion for the second time in a row. Russian assured his golden medal after only 4 starts in the Great Final of SEC in Ostrów Wielkopolski. However, his beginnings in that meeting were not that good, proper corrections in the setups let him reach the ultimate triumph in the meeting.
- First 2 heats were not so good, but we stayed calm with my boys. I changed the setup for the third heat and it helped instantly. From then on, I was very fast.
After this heat, Sayfutdinov withdrew from the further part of the meeting because of the shoulder's problems. He managed to stand on the highest step of the podium though and got his trophy and the golden medal.
- This season was a bit easier for me, so as this win that I've just reached. It's my second gold of the European Championship, but I still feel hunger for trophies and will do my best to continously improve my skills.
