Nicki Pedersen took the third place during the third round of Speedway European Championships series in Swedish Kumla . Dane stood on the podium a little bit lucky, because in the final he reached the finish line in last position, but riding in front of him, Antonio Lindbaeck was excluded for exceeding the line of the track with two wheels .
"It is true, I reached the finish line last, but I had a bit of luck. Antonio made the mistake of attacking Grigory Laguta. This single point may be very important in the final standings, though my loss to Emil Sayfutdinov is considerable."
After the three rounds Pedersen is already nine points behind the leading in SEC series Russian SEC. As he admits it will be hard to work out during the event in Ostrow, but the three-time world champion is a true warrior and certainly will not give up.
"Today, Emil was out of reach, I tried to look for speed through the entire competition, but I could not really be completely happy with my result. Well, the last round in Ostrow is ahead. I will certainly fight to the end for the best result"- said after the competition in Kumla, Nicki Pedersen.
