Grigorij Laguta presented from a really good side in SEC Challenge to the Speedway European Championships finale. During the meeting “Grisza” won three races and he got a qualification to the main event.

Russian international was satisfied with the qualification to the Speedway European Championships finals. - Of course I’m happy with the qualifications but to be honest I would prefer to get a wild card for the finals earlier in the season. It’s obvious that you need to show some skills first, but I have so many fixtures now that I would be really satisfied with a wild card. Now I’m focused on that what it is. I’ve managed to qualify and that is the most important thing. I’m racin’ for myself and sponsors of course. I did a great Job and you can see the effects now - he said after a Zarnovica Challenge.

Every year "Grisza" want more from himself and in this season is exactly the same. Russian rider want to be a winner of SEC this year. - This season is very good for me and also very demanding - admits. - Everywhere where I’m racing’ I want to be the best and the same will be in Speedway European Championships events. When they invited me to eliminations I’ve said to me that I will fight in this for everything. I’m interestin’ in win and I think it’s natural. In speedway for me there are no favourites. Close to the tapes head don’t think. You Just close your eyes givin’ full throttle and racin’ as Fast as you can. That is all about. I have a positive motivation before every race and meeting for satisfy my family and fans of course - adds.

So far Laguta haven’t got too many ocasions to start in Gdansk where first SEC round will be held. He doesn’t mind to be still very ambitious about that. - In Gdańsk I have started only once so far. But I will go there with positive thinkin’ which I have a lot in me everywhere where I’m racin’. My son loves sound of speedway engines. I’m tellin’ you that this sound makin’ him sleepy. I will do everything to satisfy my young hero and I will play him a fine song for good dreams on my bike - ambitious rider finishes.
