Amazing actions into a fence, the fight on elbows for every centimeter of the track. In addition, many attractions for fans in a specially prepared "Fan Zone". It is a sign that already tomorrow in Torun there is great inauguration of Speedway European Championships series!
In this year’s SEC there will start 15 riders from 7 countries: 5 Polish representatives, 3 Danish, 3 Russian and one rider from Sweden, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany. The inaugural round, which is already on June 20th, on Saturday will be held in Toruń. For some riders it’s another season in SEC - and for others complete debut. The unchanging is the aim and ambition of all riders, who all promise to fight for every centimeter of the track that is good for racing and guarantees strong emotions like no other in the world.
- The line-up of this year's SEC-series is a really strong and competitive one. Therefore it's tough to point out any favourites. It won't be easy for Emil to defend his title as there will be a few experienced guys as well as some young and wild ones chasing him. Personally I see Grigory Laguta,
Peter Kildemand and Martin Vaculik as the top favourites, closely followed by Nicki Pedersen and Emil Sayfutdinov . Vaclav Milik might not end up in the Top 8 but he will surely cause one or the other surprise during the series as well as Pawel Przedpelski in the opening round on his home track in Toruń.
Local fans will definitely be interested in the fact that permanent participant in the event will be very spectacular Grigory Laguta, who rides every day in KS Torun. Interestingly, for the first time in history, in the struggle for individual titles, Russian will have to face in direct fight with his younger brother, Artem Laguta, who proved to be unbeatable in the final of qualifications (SEC Challenge), winning all the heats of that tournament.
Paweł Przedpełski, really skillful rider U21 and local audience’s favourite, has received the wild card for the inauguration of the SEC in Toruń .His skills and a great shape recently has been recognized by the coach of Polish national team and he received the call - up for race - off of Speedway World Cup.

Since Monday, March 15th the sale of tickets for Speedway European Championships are also possible to buy at MotoArena at KS Toruń place.
The cheapest tickets are possible to buy for 10 PLN! Additionally on the occasion of the end of school year it is possible to buy special “school ticket” for 2 PLN (available with a package with normal ticket) for green and yellow zone.
Ticket prices for the inaugural round of Speedway European Championships (20th June, MotoArena Toruń)
Blue zone:
Normal ticket: 40 PLN
Reduced ticket: 20 PLN
Green zone:
Normal ticket: 25 PLN
Reduced ticket: 10 PLN
School ticket: 2 PLN *
* is valid only for green and yellow zone – it will be only possible to buy ticket additionally to normal ticket which means that a parent who buys normal ticket for green zone has a possibility to buy school ticket for 2 PLN
School ticket is valid only for people under 16 with school id.
Reduced ticket can be bought for children and teenagers under 18 and for students with id under 26 and for pensioners with valid id.
Children up to seven years old – free entrance with parents (without particular place at the stadium)

VIP ticket: 650 PLN
