Grigorij Laguta, who has been starting in KS Toruń since the beginning of the season, has definitely liked the movement of SEC Challlenge from Lendava to Toruń. Will Russian ensure himself qualification for Speedway European Championships?
Among all the participants, who will start this Friday in the final of qualifications for SEC, Grigorij Laguta is in the best situation. While starting in Toruń this season he has been training a lot on the track in Toruń and his average in the league at MotoArena is 2,333. Riders of Betard Sparta Wrocław so Tomasz Jędrzeja, Vaclav Milik and younger brother of Grigorij – Artem, who is a rider of MRGarden GKM Grudziądz had an opportunity to start in Toruń during the meetings of Polish PGE Esktraliga this season.
The younger of Laguta brothers is the one who won the most points on the track in Toruń although his average is not impressive 1,833. As far as Tomasz Jędzejak’s and Vaclav Milik’s results are concerned their averages are: 1,000 and 1,800.
However it should be remembered that the surface during SEC Challenge can different from the one which the riders had during league matches. All the time everybody has to concentrated and follow everything which concerns the track during the event. In spite of all Grigorij Laguta is treated as a favourite of Friday event.
