- We are able to fight for top places in Speedway Best Pairs Cup – says Grigorij Laguta. Grisha’s partners in the inaugural tournament in Toruń will be his younger brother Artiom and European Champion 2014 Emil Sajfutdinow.
Grigorij Laguta lost most of last season because of the injury of leg. As he says not only the injury was his problem last season. - It’s true that this injury caused that I rode only a little. I didn’t take part in the events which were important for me. In 2014 there were also financial problems so everything went really hard. Problems in Włokniarz also had an influence on my last year racing. Then there were also problems with this injury so there were really some bad things which interrupted me. However this is behind me, this 2014 and now I think only about season 2015, to be well prepared and I hope that everything will go well.
Last year Grisha rode only once in Speedway Best Pairs Cup round and it was in Eskilstuna. Now he is going to help Emil and Artion in fighting for a win. - Definitely I’m waiting for this day because I would like to ride in some event. It doesn’t even matter if it is individual tournament, league match, SBPC or European Championship. If Emil, Artiom and me will be in a good form we are able to fight for top places and I hope it will be so.
So fat Laguta is saying about silencers, which are supposed to be introduced starting from the new season, with a distance. He thinks that riders have to make a lot of necessary tests which make it possible to have some opinion on this subject.
- Equipment is equipment, just we have to check these silencers because I haven’t had an opportunity to test them yet, I haven’t even seen them. We’ll check everything, how a bike behaves when they are used, it will be either a little bit weaker or stronger and we’ll set everything well. Everything will be clear after first tests.
