Peter Kildemand had a great entrance in Polish ekstraliga while he was winning with world class riders on each track. He also qualified to European Championship and he is very successful. On the 19th of September he will have a chance to win the medal of Speedway European Championships for the first time in his career.
Dane from the very beginning promised that he is going to be concentrated on each start and then score will come. As it can be seen, this season is really successful for the young rider from Denmark because before the last round of SEC he loses only three points to the leader of the series, Emil Sajfutdinow. Such loss means that Kildemand can even fight for the gold medal which would be quite big surprise.
For the inauguration in Gustrow he stood on the second step of the podium just after his countryman, Nicki Pedersen. In Togliatti he was eliminated after the race – off but 12 points which he score had a positive effect on his total score. In Holsted he was on the podium again. This time Emil Sajfutdinow was better but he scored as many points as Russian.
After three rounds “Spider” has 36 points and he loses only three to Emil Sajfutdinow. It is the younger of Danes who can be the most dangerous rival for Russian as far as fight for the title is concerned. It is worth to mention that Kildemand is a rider of Włókniarz Częstochowa and because of that he knows the track really well. Will he surprise the rider from Russia? We’ll find out on the 19th of September at SGP Arena!
