It’s a month to the final round of SEC. On the 19th of September at SGP Arena in Częstochowa there will be fifteen best riders in Europe but only one of them will hold the cup for the best one in Europe. At this moment a lot of organizational work is done at the stadium and the effects of it will be seen during the great final.
- The great day for speedway is ahead. The final of Speedway European Championships takes place in Poland, in Częstochowa on the track which is one of the best to race. It’s a month to the tournament so there is a lot of work to have everything done. Lately we have visited the stadium and I must say that everything is going into the right direction. We all know about the problems of the club from Częstochowa but I can assure that the organization is on the highest level which causes that our cooperation goes really well. – says Karol Lejman, the president of One Sport.
It is worth to add that the club from Częstochowa is co – organizer of the September final of SEC. As it is emphasized by the president of Włókniarz, Dariusz Śleszyński the presence at the stadium during the last tournament of European Championship is a great opportunity to see great show but also to help the local club.
- The final of European Championship is a great honor for us. We are doing our best to be well prepared for this event. We are not going to hide that we count on good attendance on the 19th of September. Every ticket which will be bought is a kind of help for the future existence of our club. Włókniarz is really important club in Poland so we hope that will show unity again and help the club.
Before the final of SEC season the biggest chances to win have four riders. Three of them know the track in Częstochowa really well. Is it going to be the key to the victory?
- If we look at the effort of local activists which is put into the organization of the event, we can be sure that it will be great tournament. I’m convinced that we shouldn’t be worry about the sports aspect because during the three past round the riders showed really good speedway. Emil Sajfutdinow and Nicki Pedersen were riding in Częstochowa not so long ago and Peter Kildemand is the local rider this season. There is still a lot of work left but I can assure that on the 19th of September every fan will be a witness of a great show. – adds Jan Konikiewicz, One Sport.
