Michael Jepsen Jensen, the representative of hosts started quite unexpectedly during the last tournament of Speedway European Championships in Holsted. For the young Dane it was the first start in SEC series. Although Jensen took part in the Challenge in Debrecen but his score wasn’t successful enough to qualify to the series.
Jensen at the very last moment took place of Martin Smolinski and his score was quite good. It is worth to mention that this wasn’t the debut of Dane in the events organized by One Sport. Earlier he took part in Speedway Best Pairs Cup.
- Everything was really great and organized really professionally – says Michael Jepsen Jensen. – Generally all the tournaments organized by One Sport were like this – adds the rider.
As MJJ says Danish fans were really happy because of the fact that there was the tournament of Speedway European Championships in their country. – Surely rain had a bad influence on the amount of people at the stadium but I know that Danes really liked the tournament. Apart from that, I think it’s very good for our speedway that it was in Holsted. It was really good tournament and Holsted was really happy that it had received the organization of it. I’m really happy that such big and great events are organized on Danish ground - explains the rider.
For the question if he would like to be permanent participant of SEC series, Dane answers with no hesitation. – Yes, of course. The rider emphasizes also that One Sport organizes all the events really well. – They are professionals and I’m really happy I can work with them. I hope that we will be working together for many years more.
Jensen probably won't start in September SEC final but he encourages all fans to come at the stadium. - Probably I won't ride in Częstochowa but I would like to encourage fans to come for this event. Your presence will be very important for saving the club from Częstochowa. - ends Michael Jepsen Jensen.
