It’s already tomorrow on the 9th of August at 3 p. m. in Holsted, Denmark there is the third round of Speedway European Championships. Nicki Pedersen is definitely the favorite. Current leader of the series will ride on his home track and he wants to have proper advantage over the rivals before the last tournament in Częstochowa.
Points scored at Moldow Speedway Arena can be really crucial in general classification. After the two rounds which were won by Nicki Pedersen, Dane has only one point advantage over Emil Sajfutdinow and four over his countryman Peter Kildemand. Current European Champions is also still in the game.
Janusz Kołodzie, who had very good score in Gustrow but later rode worse in Togliatti, is also going to fight for the podium. When we look at Vaculik’s example seven point loss to the leader is not so many and it can be reduced. Surely Niels Kritian Iversen, who has received the wild card from the organizers for the tournament in Holsted, wants to fight for a good score.
Because “PUK” is in a really incredible form, it can be expected that he will be able to fight for a win in his country. If he manage to win, he will repeat Krzysztof Kasprzak’s feat when he won as a wild card rider during Speedway European Championships tournament in Gorican last year.
In Holsted Martin Smolinski will be replaced by Kjastas Puodzuks. German has to be present in Marianske Lazne where is challenge of FIM Long Track World Championship. For Puodżuks it is a come back to the SEC series after not very successful last year experience.
We are starting at 3 p. m. Transmission only on Eurosport!
