Kjastas Puodżuks will start in Holsted and replace Martin Smolinski. German has to present in Marianske Lazne where is challenge of FIM Long Track World Championship. For Puodżuks it is a come back to the SEC series after not very successful last year experience.
- Smolinski knew what he was doing when he was starting in qualifying rounds, he knows the rules and he realized that it is impossible to join it when there is collision of dates. We know that at the beginning challenge was supposed to take place on Sunday but despite of this fact, we think that he shouldn’t put on himself this start while he was supposed to take part in SEC during the weekend. If the tournament in Holsted was postponed for example on Sunday, German wouldn’t be able to start in Denmark and there would be a problem. The calendar is what it is and the situation connected with the qualifying round of SGP in Berwick should teach everybody something. Some decisions are made on the base of particular rules and it doesn’t matter if we think they are right or stupid. – says Jan Konikiewicz, One Sport.
Kjastas Puodżuks took part in two rounds of SEC in 2013 but he got injured and because of that he wasn’t able to fight for a good score. Despite of this he left quite good impression. Theoretically Martin Smolinski should be replaced by the reserved Josef Franc but Czech also can’t be in Holsted on that day.
- We, as the promoters can’t think for everybody and worry about everything. We expect professionalism and responsibility from the riders as we do our best to provide them comfortable conditions and take care of details. They should save their starts in a reasonable way – especially when the rider receives the wild card for the whole series. – adds Konikiewicz.
