Martin Smolinski can’t be satisfied with the two rounds of Speedway European Championships. He is now only fifteenth with eight points in general classification and dreams of a good result must be postponed for the next year.
The only individual win Smolinski had on the track in Gustrow. Unfortunately then was only worse. German rider surely can’t be happy with his first two starts in SEC series however it should be remembered that he can find his form in any moment and ride on the highest level.
It is worth to remind that his win in the first round of Individual World Championship in New Zealand shocked the whole speedway world. After not very good beginning in SEC, Smolinski definitely would like to rehabilitate already in Holsted where the third round of European Championship takes place. Good sign was definitely great score in German league where the representative of ACL Landshut scored 20 points and was the best rider of the match.
Such scored gives him more self – confidence and causes that German will do his best Denmark. His current statistics aren’t very impressive… The average 0,800 only is not what he expected. Despite of this fact, fans of Smolinski believe that their favorite will present better in two another rounds of SEC and that they will have a possibility to see his wins. First chance is on the 9th of August in Holsted.
