Speedway European Championships series was nominated for the finalists Sport Business Awards 2013 in a category “Sport Event”. Apart from the One Sport’s project two other events are nominated for this award: Beach Volleyball World Cup Mazury 2013 and Orlen Warsaw Marathon.
- We are really happy that the project Speedway European Championships was noticed and appreciated this way. It’s a great honor for us that only after the first season we are in such exclusive group. DEMES statues are the most prestigious of Polish sport business and this nomination will be definitely greater motivation for action and to achieve goals – said the president of One Sport Karol Lejman.
Sport Business Awards promote people and institutions who by their actions have direct contribution in the development of Polish sport. It also appreciate those who contribute to the development of the relation between sport and business. About the fact who get the awards decide experts in the field of sport business.
- We are very proud, especially because the experts are independent and they noticed our work and also the potential of SEC as a product. We want to develop Polish sport and such plebiscite is great occasion for promotion of not only our action but also speedway in our country. It shows that SEC is an important project which is noticed not only in speedway world but also by objective experts. Selecting the winners will take place during the 10th Sport and Business Gala on the 6th of March 2014 in Olympic Centre in Warsaw.
