The third round of this year's TAURON SEC series is just around the corner. The riders will fight for more points for the interim classification in Bydgoszcz. There are several names on the start list worth paying special attention to.

Mikkel Michelsen

After a successful start to the series, Dane is confidently leading the table. What's more, Michelsen is not off the podium - he took second place in both Czestochowa and Güstrow. As you can see, consistent scoring is the key to success. In Bydgoszcz, the two-time Individual European Champion can get much closer to winning his third title. He should approach the competition with a "cool head", as a 9-point lead over his rivals gives him considerable comfort. Another "solid" performance may make Michelsen go to Pardubice to get the job done.

Leon Madsen

The Dane will do his best to disrupt the championship aspirations of his compatriot. The winner of the first round in Częstochowa coudn't maintain his high form in Güstrow, where he finished in 14th place. As a result, he is losing nine points to the leader, Mikkel Michelsen. This means that in the last two rounds of the series Madsen will not be able to afford any mistake. The advantage of Madsen may be the Bydgoszcz oval, where he grabbed the victories in both 2020 and 2021.

Janusz Kolodziej

Current European vice-champion had a very successful return from the injury. In Güstrow, he was on another level - reached for the overall victory by scoring 17 of the 18 possible points. After the phenomenal performance, Kolodziej moved up to a high sixth place, which gives him a real chance in the fight for medals in this year's Individual European Championship. Currently, he loses only two points to third-placed Andzejs Lebedevs. If 'Koldi' maintains his high form, the final podium will be within his reach.

Dimitri Berge

The round in Bydgoszcz will be a real test for Berge. In Częstochowa he took fifth place, but it was a bit worse in Güstrow, where he scored only five points. If he wants to stay in the top half of the classification, he will have to present himself from a better side during the upcoming competition in Bydgoszcz. Berge, who is currently seventh, is losing only two points to Janusz Kołodziej. The knowledge of the local track can be a huge advantage, especially at the beginning of the meeting. The Frenchman represented local Polonia Bydgoszcz in 2018-2020.
