Petr Chlupáč received a 'wild card' for the Grand Finale of the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2023, which will be held in Pardubice on September 22.

Born in 2002 rider has speedway in his blood. This is thanks to his father, who was also a speedway rider, but ended his career at the age of 18.

Chlupáč began his career with motosports on quads. Later, he tried riding a 125cc speedway bikes and has remained with this sport to this day. From early days, he  he has a lot of potential, and it's best proven by his mini speedway championship titles, which won in 2015 and 2016. Chlupáč also competed in the 250cc category, but together with his father decided that a quick "switch" to 500cc would be a better for the future.

Chlupáč, made his debut in full speedway in 2018. Already in his first season he achieved a lot of success - he took 3rd place in the U21 Individual Czech Championship as well as won the silver medal of the U19 Czech Championship. Good results were noticed by the Polish club from Rawicz, which decided to sign him for the 2019 season. After a year-long adventure with the local Kolejarz, Chlupáč moved to PGE Ekstraliga Team - Apator Toruń.

So far, his greatest successes came in 2021 - that's when he took 5th place in Individual U21 World Championship. In addition, at the domestic backyard he grabbed the victory in the Individual Czech Youth Championship.

This year, Chlupáč is competing in the U24 Ekstraliga representing Apator Toruń. For the Czech representative, this is the last year in the U21 category, so in order to make a name for himself in the speedway world, he has to prove his worth, and the ideal opportunity for this will be the TAURON SEC round in Pardubice, where the Czech will face the best riders from all over Europe.

The reserve riders for the round in Pardubice will be Hynek Štichauer and Matouš Kamenik.
