Janusz Kolodziej reached for his second consecutive victory in Güstrow. The Pole made a very good comeback to the TAURON SEC series after an injury and realistically joined the fight for the top spots.

So far, 'Koldi' has triumphed in three tournaments of Individual European Championship. A year ago, he stood on the top step of the podium in Güstrow and Łódź, while his third victory came last weekend, when he was near flawless during the German round of this year's series.

- This is my second victory in Güstrow. It was a completely different day than last time and it was hard for me to repeat my success from a year ago - he admits.

Saturday's competition was nearly perfect for Kołodziej. This can be proven by the fact that in his six starts, Pole lost only one point - in the fourth series he crossed the finish line behind Jan Kvech.

- The engines and setup were good, and the track suits me well. If all factors come together, it's much easier to ride such a competition. Today even my starts were fine, and I have quite a problem with them this year - the Polish representative noted.

Despite the fact that he couldn't start during the inaugural round in Częstochowa, the magnificent result achieved in Güstrow made Kołodziej to jump up at the sixth place in the interim classification of TAURON SEC 2023. The point differences between the riders are so minor that his chances for another medal of the Individual European Championship have increased significantly.

- Now it's becoming possible. However, I have to score more points to even think about it. I'll give my best in the next rounds and we'll see what happens - Kołodziej concluded.
